The U-BINDER design is simple and robust.  The hard plastic body is 1/8" thick, and the jaws are cast iron.  Place the jaws over the rebar joint, and 1 push of the button clasps the jaws, then double wraps, ties and cuts the wire - in 1 second.  There are no unnecessary bells or whistles, ensuring reliable operation - no jams - and easy maintenance that can be performed on site.

Using an extended tool is only possible if the tool is light-weight.  U-Binder weighs only 4lbs, so one-hand operation is possible.  This weight reduction was made possible by designing a waste-battery pack.  Each U-Binder comes with 2 batteries, each capable of 450 ties and chargeable in 60 minutes.  Estimated 225,000 ties per battery life.

In addition to low weight and convenient length, the         U-Binder trigger handle has a release that allows repositioning at 30-degrees off center.

The one-button operation allows for continuous operation.  Ties are consistent regardless of operator skill or experience, and the fast pace of work can be maintained without safety or fatigue concerns.

U-BINDER will be sold in a durable, hard-plastic black carrying case, including:

Wire will be carried by authorized dealers in cases of 50 spools.

Wire tension and quality of tie is easily controlled and adjusted using a tension dial on the back side of the unit.

The U-Binder can be tested before going on site - it can spin & cut wire without rebar.
